PERCEPTION!

Perception is how we judge people of how we see them in our own way. You can't judge people of how they look like because, you may be wrong in you thoughts. Actually I won't lie to everybody but when I see any Philippines I really think that they came to Egypt to work as mades; but maybe I'm wrong because they may come as tourists! The environment effects us in our thoughts...

Magazines, T.V, radio, stuff like that change people's thoughts about other people!

EXAMPLES:

- when anybody finds any Philippines in streets they always say / oh, you know that Philippine works as a made .

- when a mother walks with her daughter or son and see a strange black man she tells her daughter/son : get away from that guy he'll hurt you or he may be a thief ( sorry for interrupting but who told you that he'll hurt your children?!

My most embaressing moment!

While I was five, I was in the car with my family then my dad went to buy something in a shop.

It was also my grandma's birthday, my mother's phone was out of batterie...

My mom told me go and get your father's phone so we can call your grandma and tell her"Happy

BD"...

The shop that my dad was in was behind our car, so I was on my way to to get the phone...

By accident a man had the same jacket as my dad, I went and said to him ( daddy, mummy wants the

phone to call grandma)

I WAS SO EMBARESSED!!

Then the man was like " what's that child!"

And I was like " oops " ... But it was to late!

I wish...

Hey there,
I have a wish and I believe in it and I know it could happen if my father has known that I want it! So let's start, my favorite two different talents they are my guitar and I adore singing . I always dreamt to go on the show that names the XFactor...  I thought if I went there I can really  show people the real me.
I always wanted to sing in front of a lots of people but I never did because of my shyness , my shyness keep me from doing things I love to do.
My parents told me that people your doing in front of them any talent They are like you and if they were in your place on stage they will be shy and nervous like you are so they are normal like you ,so I decided to preform like they said!
That was my only dream I always wanted it to happen...
Thank you :)

BFG and Macbeth

Macbeth and The BFG are both very interesting stories that are full of knowledge. Even though they have different stories, they both teach us important lessons.

The BFG by Roald Dahl is a book about a big giant who makes friends with a small girl named Sophie. At first, Sophie is scared of the giant, but then she realizes that even though he might look very scary, he's actually very kind and friendly. The lesson of the story is that we shouldn't judge people because of how they look.

Macbeth is a play by William Shakespeare, a very famous writer. It is a story about a man named Macbeth who is a soldier of King Duncan. He is very loyal to the king but then his wife makes him kill the king so he will become king instead of him. Macbeth is a good man but his wife tricked him into doing something evil. The lesson of the story is that even if someone tells you to do something bad, you should always stay good.

28th of February

On the last day of February, I went to my friend Nour's birthday party. We had lots of fun! We laughed, danced, sang, and talked together. Nour's family was there and I had a nice time talking to them and getting to know them. The funniest part was when Nour's little sister's friends came into the bedroom and we kicked them out! After that, we had an amazing time. I really enjoyed myself. It was a wonderful way to end the month!!

About Me

Hello! My name is Gamila Zayed. I am 12 years old. I am an IB student in Oasis International School. I am going to tell you a little bit about my life.
I live in the beautiful city of Cairo. I share a home with my mother, my father, and my little sister. She's so sweet but sometimes she can be a nuisance! I also have a very large family which I am thankful for. I'm very close with all my cousins - they're just like my sisters and brothers! I'm glad that I also have a lot of friends at my school. I always have fun with them, whether it's at school or outside school. We always share projects and work together in class. Now I'll tell you about myself and my hobbies.
I love music. I can play the guitar and the piano, although I've recently stopped playing the piano. Every Saturday I go to the Gezira Club where I have private tennis lessons with my cousins. I enjoy playing tennis because it is a fun sport and it;s very exciting when I beat my partner.

Here are some of my favourite foods:

  • cupcakes
  • cote d'or chocolate
  • pizza
  • burgers
  • french fries
